Our client, a successful record label, is seeking an A&R Administration Manager.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with A&R managers and marketing regarding formatting and scheduling for all releases.
  • Ensuring content is available for digital, websites, and exclusives.
  • Booking and coordinating recording, mixing, and mastering sessions.
  • Ensuring all audio parts for physical and digital products are coordinated in time for deadlines.
  • Collating and compiling all label copy for copyright and artwork.
  • Liaising with creatives to ensure credits are received.
  • Archiving all masters after recording sessions.
  • Ensuring producers, engineers and mixer supply required parts form sessions correctly.
  • Compiling studio, musician, and remix agreements, terms, budgets and deals to ensure their accurate processing.
  • Organising artist travel for recording sessions.
  • Processing invoices, updating suppliers with payment terms and dates.
  • Creating and monitoring recoupable recording budgets.
  • Updating finance departments with monthly actual and forecast spend for each artist.


  • Previous experience in similar record label role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Knowledge of current audio formats and recording processes.
  • Knowledge of Dolby Atmos audio format desirable.
  • Demonstrable ability to work to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Capable of keeping composure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of record company budgeting and recoupable costs is desired.
