Job Title: Studio Administrator & Score Coordinator

Our client are an outstanding music production company, they are looking to bring on board a confident, skilled and enthusiastic administrator. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys creating processes and positive outcomes and keeping the plates comfortably spinning.

Part time position, working from home Monday to Friday, 4 hours per day.

 

About them:

They are a growing team run by a composer working within the film and television industry. They value hard work, doing your best and the importance of life outside of work, in particular family, friends and self-care. Although they are small in numbers, they regularly work with contractors who are part of a tight knit team, in which everyone is respected and encouraged to progress and achieve their goals.

 

About the role:

They are looking for an experienced administrative assistant to support their small team, reporting directly to their lead composer. You will have the opportunity to work on new TV and film productions and be an integral part in supporting the delivery of the bespoke music that accompanies them.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping
  • updating insurance documents as and when needed
  • Book recording sessions, including time with relevant personnel
  • Manage lead composers diary and setting up meetings
  • Keep various online platforms up to date, including IMDB and company website
  • Keeping project budgets up to date
  • Updating social media profiles on a regular basis
  • Checking email accounts
  • Renew annual subscriptions
  • Organise printing of relevant documents when     needed
  • Answering requests for images and bios

 

Candidate requirements:

Beneficial – 

  • Experience setting up online/automated accounting software
  • Experience working within the film and television industry
  • Comfortable working with numbers
  • Problem solving
  • Knowledge of how music royalties work
  • Experience working in a high pressure environment
  • An interest in music, film and TV
  • Experience managing social media accounts in a work capacity

  • Strong email communication skills
  • Reliable internet connection
  • Excellent written English
  • Knowledge of popular social media platforms, even on a personal level
  • Administrative experience
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent word processing and excel skills
  • Calm and adaptable as schedules and workload change quickly and frequently
  • Work well under pressure
  • Professional and highly personable as the role requires this candidate to liaise with     many people outside of the company (for example free-lancers, music studios, musicians, some of whom are overseas)
  • Self-starter and proactive in anticipating tasks
  • Comfortable managing workload and juggling various duties at the same time.
