THE MUSIC MARKET / ARTS AND MEDIA HAS been placing outstanding candidates with leading companies in the music, arts, media and entertainment INDUSTRIES for two decades.

WE have a solid reputation for COMPLETE TRANSPARENCY of our processes and thoroughly understanding our clients’ values, requirements and cultures.

We make time to understand each client’s individual needs and market inside out, so we can make the most of our extensive industry knowledge and networks to place a candidate who will fully contribute to the growth and success of the brand.

Digital networks have dramatically changed the recruitment industry, but as a result many job posts are inundated with applications and it is becoming increasingly difficult to differentiate talent. Our forte is cutting through the clutter to find outstanding candidates.

The Music Market / Arts and Media maintain good relationships with numerous individuals working at the forefront of their industries and will be the first to know as and when they are considering a move.

Our long-standing client relationships are testament to our commitment to finding amazing individuals who go on to become significant assets.

  • Whatever your requirements, simply make one phone call and then you can leave the rest to us.
Or we can be available for face-to-face meetings at 24-hours notice. We work around our clients' needs.
  • We deliver the highest standards of service to each and every client.

We specialise in filling permanent, contract, temporary and part-time positions within the music, creative and media industries. We recruit for a wide range of businesses, including record companies, independent labels, booking agents, publishing houses, studios, artist management, promoters, digital agencies and tech companies.

The landscape in all of these industries is constantly changing, so we make sure that we adapt alongside our clients. Please do drop us a line if you would like to discuss any new roles.

OUR Process

Our candidates vetting process includes a face-to-face interview with one of our consultants, followed by a thorough briefing of the role.

The consultant will then brief our client in substantial detail on the final shortlist of candidates, so that they can make a well-informed final decision.

Alongside making the most of our existing networks, The Music Market / Arts and Media advertises online and in appropriate publications.

Some comments from our clients...

We have recruited through The Music Market / Arts and Media since they opened as The Music Market in 1999. They have always proved to be first class in terms of service and the standard of candidate they send us. They have an in-depth knowledge of what we look for in our candidates as well as the industry we work in.

They are our first port of call for both temporary and permanent staff and over the years we have built up a great relationship with the consultants there. They just ‘get it’. As their first client in 1999 we are delighted to still be working with them 19 years later!

Having worked with the team at Arts and Media/The Music Market for the past few years, we have always found that they provide us with an efficient, professional and yet personal service – as well as the highest calibre candidates.

CODA has worked with Arts and Media/The Music Market for a number of years to fill both permanent and temporary roles, and they are always a pleasure to deal with.

They are extremely efficient in finding the right candidates and the team has a great understanding of the music and entertainment industries – particularly the needs of our business. CODA recommends them without hesitation!
